The land depicted in this intricately detailed survey plan surrounds the current location of New Town High School, in the Hobart suburb of New Town. This farm of around ten hectares appears to be part of a larger holding owned by E. F. Bromley Esquire, with "Upper Farm" marked as adjoining the southern boundary of the property shown in the survey.
